VINTAGE STYLE CLOTHING FOR
BARBIE
A vintage Barbie is modeling a circa 1950s-era dress, purse, and hat.
The 1950s style dress is made with a medium weight cotton in an uneven black-and-white graph check. The bodice of the dress is lined with white cotton.  The bodice has a "bib" that comes up from the skirt and covers the The dress is hand-hemmed with a kick-pleat at the center back.
The beret is made of a medium weight red cotton.  The brim is faced with the same red cotton.  The brim has a spray of shiny faceted beads glued to it.  The beret can be worn a number of ways.
In the purse is gathered near the top and banded with a narrow black satin ribbon.   Another piece of ribbon is stitched to the sides for a handle.
This outfit fits on my vintage, Silkstone and newer Barbie doll bodies.
