Very old Yoruba, Nigeria:  ‘house of the head’. Decorated with cowry shells.  In very poor condition and with missing parts.  Believd to date prior to 1900.  Weighs 7 pounds and has0 to 10 inch diameter main portion is 15.5 inches high and top rod is aditiona 6 inches.   Purchased in an auction lot in the in about 1985.  Previous history is not known
