    Description

    Here is a large heavy ornate antique air vent register in very good structural condition.
    There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. In working condition.
    This grate can be used for it's original purpose or repurposed for many different uses
    around the house and garden.
    It is large and heavy, about 16.5 in.(across) x 13 in. (high) and weighing just under 14 lbs.
    On the reverse is embossed "Foster's Special".
    The design of this model leaves me to believe that is was to be used with the back against a wall,
    and the bottom resting on the floor (or a ledge), as seen in the first photo.  The bottom part is curved and the
    section resting on the floor is about 4.25 in.
    In other words, the bottom of the vent, which rests on the floor,
    would be about 4.25 inches
    from the wall.
