    Description

This is a wonderfully rare Hampshire bowl with a partial paper label.  Hampshire art pottery pottery was made in Keene N.H. until 1917.  I used visit my sister in N.H. where she lived near Keene and we always went Antiquing and to the first outdoor antique flea market there.  I would guess I got got it there about 45 years ago.
The bowl has the iconic matt green glaze that was introduced in 1883.  The bowl is also decorated with a band of leaves and flowers.  The pot is signed with aM in a circle which Robertson did for pots he designed for his wife Emoretta which means it was probably made between 1904 and 1914.  Also, the bowl has a very rare partial paper label which probably means that it is on the early side.
The bowl measures about 2.5" tall and 5.5" wide.
I have treasured it all these years but now must downsize in order to move.
