    a signed and numbered serigraph by Ha-So-De (Narciso Abeyta), Navajo artist who studied with Dorothy Dunn in the Studio in the 1930’s, and whose original work appears on the cover of her classic work,

    . Ha-So-De’s career spanned the time from the mid-1930’s through his death in 1998. He signed and numbered this serigraph in 1994. Unframed, dimensions 20 ½” x 13 ½”. His originals are rarely available, even at auction. In 2002, an original sold for 00.00 at the R.G. Munn auction.
    In 2005 one of Ha-So De's originals was featured on Antiques Road Show, and is shown in the second photo. It was appraised for 00-6000. The transcript of the Roadshow session can be viewed by googling “Ha So De.” T
    The image of a leaping deer is a frequent motif in Ha-So-De's work, signifying both the freedom and energy of animals which provide sustenance for the people and the success of the hunt.
