ANTIQUE VTG CAST IRON HEAT VENT FLOOR REGISTER GRATE w/ LOUVERS 12" X 14"

Look what I found in the Barn
A nice old antique floor register grate in working condition, louvers open and close as they should, no breaks, cracks or welds. Has some remnants of white paint and lots of rust, needs a good cleaning and some fresh paint.  Outside measurements are 12" by 14" fits a hole that is 10" by 12" by 2 3/4" deep.  This floor grate is solid iron, the louvers are iron and thicker than 2 stacked quarters (see pic), the framework underneath is iron thicker than 1/4" (see pic of dime). All that IRON makes it heavy, weighs just under 13 pounds but still fits into flat rate med postal box to save some shipping. A nice old floor grate and a true piece of American history.
