66 Tooth Wheel Pulley for MBS Mountain Board Wheels
(Twistar, Rockstar 2 and Rockstar Pro)
Designed, printed, and tested in Tampa, FL. This was designed in house with the goal - to make a lighter, lower cost and more user-friendly gear vs metal gears. These are printed using PLA+ with threaded brass inserts to accept the included M4 bolts - guaranteed to hold up just as good as aluminum and provide prolonged belt life compared to metal gears (less sharp angles wear). We back these 100% - if you break it while in normal use (we have pushed these to 60MPH for 20-25 miles on a single charge over and over to attempt to break them) so think of it as a challenge!!
We make the gear teeth 3mm wider than others (also 3mm wider than the belts used on these) to allow for minor adjustments for the DIY builders and it also provides more open surface area to
dissipate
heat at a faster rate.
We have also upgraded our gears to have integrated brass threads versus the old lock nuts. Not only does this ensure proper alignment but also makes them a breeze to install and super easy to remove if you want to change your setup without having a completely different board.
Price is per gear and includes all necessary mounting hardware and an optional 5mm spacer (may or may not need depending on the type of motor mounts you are using. These will fit and clear on both 200MM tires and 160MM (torque board tires) without any issues.
